The right under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 allows you to  add 90 years to existing lease. For example: If you have 70 years left on your lease you will be given a new lease of 160 years.

However, you can extend the lease as many years as you want as long as it is agreed with your landlord.
